Employees who are offered the opportunity to participate in these programs have a greater sense of appreciation. Roblin Insurance will work with you to develop and introduce employee paid programs.
COBRA ADMINSTRATION SERVICES
We will provide full COBRA administration and eliminate most employer fiduciary responsibilities. From initial notification of CORBA rights to the collection of premium, we will free up your HR staff. Many firms use payroll services for this, we’ll do it on our nickel.
FSA PLAN COMMUNICATION & ADMINISTRATION
We will introduce, communicate and service a debit card based FSA program for your employees. FSA’s are an excellent tool to allow employees to pay for non-covered medical, dental, vision, or childcare expenses on a pre-tax basis. Examples of eligible expenses would include co pays and deductibles, over the counter medications, orthodontia, Lasix surgery, and/or day care. For an employee in a 30% tax bracket, every $1,000 deferred is like a $300 raise. Employers also save through reduced payroll taxes.
EMPLOYEE BENEFIT STATEMENTS
We will create customized employee benefit statements for each of your employees. These statements communicate the value of the “hidden” paycheck. Employees certainly understand what they contribute towards their benefits. These statements are designed to educate them on your contributions on their behalf. Most employees are impressed and surprised to learn that when employer funded benefit costs are considered, the dollar value of their employment package can be 30 to 40% higher than their salaries.
DEDICATED EMPLOYEE BENEFIT WEBSITE
We will develop and maintain a customized website which will summarize all your employee benefit programs. We’ll even include your office policies and procedures if you’d like. Employees can get detailed information on various benefit plans, be able to download forms, and have useful links at their disposal.
VOLUNTARY EMPLOYEE BENEFIT OFFERINGS
We will provide a one on one laptop based presentation customized for each employee. These meetings can be used to communicate changes in existing benefit plans or contributions, new office policies or actual plan enrollment for core benefits. In addition, employees will be provided access to a portfolio of employer selected voluntary insurance products for their consideration.
